Reporting to the President of Demand and Operations, our Vice President (Senior Director)* Performance Marketing will oversee our performance marketing teams' strategy, development, and operations, including SEM, SEO, and programmatic advertising campaigns. • As we seek a new leader for this team, we are open to hiring at the Senior Director or Vice President level pending a candidate’s expertise and experience. We will do our best to set expectations about level as early as possible. What you'll do • Lead the development and execution of data-driven and arenaflex-efficient strategies to drive paid and organic user growth across various channels, including paid search, search engine optimization, and programmatic advertising • Optimize all facets of performance marketing, including bid strategy, landing page, ad creative and rotation, and audiences • Translate strategies into detailed budget and channel plans, working closely with Finance to update forecasts and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly actuals • Drive efficiency and performance through the use of data science and automation. • Partner with our Product team to optimize customer journey through rigorous testing and experimentation • Partner with the Finance, Data Science, and Analytics teams to develop a measurement stack to monitor and improve channel performance, enhance KPI tracking, conduct quantitative analyses to inform growth strategy, ensure accurate and timely reporting of campaign results, build a testing framework, evolve marketing attribution and incrementality, and measure customer LTV • Lead, develop, and manage a growing team of performance marketers to effectively and efficiently deliver results based on clear goals • Oversee relationships with vendors, partners, platform account managers, and other partners to test new service offerings, channels, and capabilities What you have • 8+ years of paid marketing experience managing complex campaigns, multi-million dollar budgets, and being accountable for a marketing channel P&L • 6+ years of management experience, with a track record of helping team members grow in their roles • Ability to recruit, grow, and develop excellent marketing talent • Exceptional analytical skills-ability to structure and parse qualitative and quantitative data, formulate and test hypotheses, synthesize findings, and draw insights and conclusions that you can translate into actionable recommendations • A strong problem-solving track record: ability to think through unique problems with no set guide and design and execute a path to a solution. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
