As a key member of the arenaflex Diversion and ESPN Innovation HR Group, you will play a critical role in driving business results and talent development across our Programming and Product teams within the Trade, Development, and Character association.About Our OrganizationDisney Diversion and ESPN Innovation is a global tech association that provides the creative backbone and product development for arenaflex's top-notch streaming services, including arenaflex+, arenaflex, ESPN+, and other industry-leading products that showcase arenaflex's unparalleled content and characters across our brands and franchises. Our Trade, Development, and Character association drives the product and tech strategy for payments, packaging, tiering, and other business and development platforms across arenaflex's streaming products, as well as the unified character across arenaflex's products, parks, and experiences.Job SummaryAs a Manager, HR Business Partner, you will lead and work with all HR projects and plans in support of the client group through collaboration across key business and HR partners. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all talent matters, including organizational effectiveness, leader effectiveness, change management, organizational design, and learning opportunities.Key Responsibilities• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, with a focus on building effective and productive working relationships with internal partners and clients.• Proactively evaluate business and organizational performance to recommend and drive action through a consultative, "influence without power" approach.• Mentor leaders on HR strategies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee engagement and inclusion, and performance management to promote a culture of continuous innovation and growth.• Demonstrate adaptability, agility, transparency, and global thinking by seeking out diverse approaches to our work.• Respond to leaders and employees with speed and accuracy.• Analyze HR data and trends with the ability to present in a clear and compelling manner that drives action on recommendations.• Advise on headcount/resource management and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure an effective recruitment and deal process.• Utilize understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development.• Collaborate with DEI functional teams and employee resource groups to implement and track the success of key Inclusion initiatives.• Assess talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy. Partner with Learning functional partners to design and deliver development experiences to help close gaps between current and future capabilities.• Lead organization design initiatives to streamline and implement new designs, roles, or processes that drive speed and efficiency and support rapidly changing business demands.• Collaborate with other HR Business Partners, fostering a positive working relationship, and working together on projects and initiatives across various groups within arenaflex Diversion and ESPN Innovation.Requirements and QualificationsEssential Qualifications• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a tech organization working with software or product teams.• Experience working with senior leaders in an "influence without power" role.• Ability to perform with a "focus in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and functionally.• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity - handling issues that don't always have a process or system in place, and potentially with conflicting priorities or perspectives.• Strong business acumen with a sharp ability to process new information quickly.• Proven ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to help drive business results.• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions.• Autonomous work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal management.Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, ideally in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or equivalent work experience.Career Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt arenaflex Diversion and ESPN Innovation, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
