The Director, Sales Training and Commercial Enablement will lead the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training programs for the sales team, ensuring rapid onboarding and continuous skill advancement. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, partnering with sales leadership, marketing, and operations to enhance commercial performance and enablement tools. You will drive initiatives that improve field sales effectiveness, embed best practices, and foster leadership development across the organization. Accountabilities • Develop, plan, and implement new hire and ongoing sales training programs to accelerate effectiveness and performance. • Conduct field rides, workshops, and training sessions to ensure practical application of sales techniques and commercial strategies. • Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Compliance, and Sales Operations to align training with business goals and tactical initiatives. • Curate and deliver leadership development content to support the growth of sales managers and team leads. • Enhance commercial enablement through tools, business planning support, CRM dashboard development, and field sales trainer programs. • Leverage adult learning theory and instructional design principles to create engaging learning experiences across multiple modalities. • Support the deployment of sales methodologies and frameworks, ensuring adoption and alignment across regions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Instructional Design, or related field. Master’s preferred. • 10+ years of experience in sales training, enablement, or field leadership within MedTech, Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, or related sectors. • Proven expertise in designing and delivering training programs for new hires and legacy sales teams. • Proficiency with arenaflex Dynamics, Salesforce CRM, Learning Management Systems (e.g., Showpad, Allego), and advanced Excel skills. • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities across all levels of the organization. • Ability to travel nationally 40–60% of the time and adapt in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. • High level of discretion, professionalism, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
