What You'll Do: The Sales Director, Dairy role is a player/coach position that leads strategy and execution for Tosca’s dairy supply chain business across North America. This position is directly responsible for the Eggs category, and developing new business opportunities within the Dairy supply chain. This role requires food industry experience, a strong commercial background, and proven success in business development and supply chain innovation. Responsibilities: • Drive and manage profitable growth for Tosca in the dairy supply chain. • Establish and execute strategy, growth initiatives, and manage relationships with current and prospective processor-customers. • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage sales managers, fostering performance through coaching, clear objectives, and regular 1:1s • Engage with major customers (e.g., egg producers, dairy processors) to foster long-term relationships, resolve issues, and secure agreements • Partner with retail team to develop and execute retail trial programs that drive adoption and long-term conversion. • Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to align on order fulfilment, pilot programs, and strategic initiatives. • Identify, develop, and commercialize new packaging solutions across current and adjacent supply chains. • Conduct in-person visits to engage with customers, participate in trade events, and drive field-level execution (~60% travel). • Monitor performance through regular sales reports, forecasts, and budget reviews. Adjust plans to meet targets. • Ensure Salesforce is updated weekly with accurate data on opportunities, activities, and pipeline status. • Ensure adherence to dairy-specific regulations, including import/export, labeling, and food safety protocols. What We Are Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree required. • 10+ years of experience in dairy supply chain or retail/perishable sales. • Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of account acquisition and growth. • Experience managing sales teams and budgets. • Strong analytical skills in supply chain arenaflex modeling and market research. • Proficiency in arenaflex Office Suite and Outlook. • Willingness to travel up to 60% with overnight stays. • Valid U.S. driver's license. • High-energy, entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication skills. • Demonstrated leadership presence and ability to influence cross-functionally. • Experience selling packaging or perishable supply chain solutions preferred. Work Schedule This is a remote role open to candidates located in states where Tosca is a registered employer. The position requires up to 50% travel, including overnight stays, to meet with customers, prospects, and internal teams across the territory.
